Is there a tool that resizes one food photo for DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub at once?
Yes. This free resizer takes one dish photo and exports four files: 1920 x 1080 (16:9) for DoorDash, 1500 x 1200 (5:4) for Uber Eats, and both of Grubhub's published specs, a 1200 x 1200 square PNG and a 1600 x 1200 (4:3) JPG. It runs in your browser, so the photo is never uploaded.
Why can't one photo size work on every delivery app?
The shapes do not overlap. DoorDash accepts 16:9 landscape only, Uber Eats asks for 5:4 to 6:4, and Grubhub's help center says square while its developer documentation says 4:3. A file cut for one is out of range on the others, so each app needs its own crop from the same original.
Why does Grubhub get two files?
Grubhub publishes two specifications that disagree. Its help center asks for a square PNG of at least 200 x 200. Its developer documentation asks for 1600 x 1200 at 4:3, in PNG or JPEG. Which one applies depends on how your menu reaches Grubhub, so the resizer exports both.
Does resizing make a photo sharper?
No. Resizing changes size and shape, not detail. If a photo is smaller than a platform's minimum, the resizer scales it up so the file meets the rule and tells you it will look soft. Only a larger original fixes that.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The photo is read and resized in your browser, and the downloads are created on your device. Re-encoding also strips the photo's metadata, including any location data from your phone.
