Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of MenuPhotoLab, a tool for restaurants to turn their own dish photos into delivery-app-ready, website-ready, and social-ready images. Please read them before using the service.
1. The Service
MenuPhotoLab lets restaurants upload photos of dishes they actually serve and receive AI-enhanced versions sized for delivery platforms, your website, social media, and print, plus template-composited marketing graphics built from your own enhanced photos. The service enhances the staging around your food (lighting, background, framing); it does not generate synthetic dishes that don't exist. See Section 5, Authenticity Commitments.
2. Accounts
You need an account, tied to one restaurant, to use MenuPhotoLab. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. By creating an account you confirm you're authorized to act on behalf of the restaurant you register.
3. Credits and Payment
Every new account gets 5 free photo credits, no card required. Additional credits come from a monthly subscription (Starter, Pro, or Multi-Location) or a one-time Credit Pack (Small, Medium, or Large; packs never expire). Payments are processed by Stripe; MenuPhotoLab never stores your full card number. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from your billing settings. If a photo enhancement fails for a technical reason, the credit is returned to your balance automatically. For refunds beyond that, see our Money-Back Guarantee.
4. Your Content and Rights
You keep ownership of every photo you upload, and you confirm you have the right to upload it, meaning it's a real photo of your own dish or restaurant. You grant MenuPhotoLab the limited license needed to process that photo (including sending it to the third-party AI providers described in our Privacy Policy) solely to generate the images and marketing assets you request. You own the enhanced results and may use them commercially (on your menu, delivery listings, website, ads, and printed materials) without further permission from us.
5. Authenticity Commitments
MenuPhotoLab enhances the real dish you photographed (the same portion, the same ingredients, the same plating) by improving lighting, background, and framing, the way a photographer restyles a scene without touching the food itself. Authenticity Mode, when enabled, applies stricter limits so portion size and ingredients cannot change at all. Nothing is exported or published automatically: every result waits for your review and approval before it's used anywhere.
6. Acceptable Use
Don't upload photos you don't have the rights to, use MenuPhotoLab to misrepresent food in a way that would mislead a customer, use the service for anything illegal, or attempt to abuse the free-credit system (for example, creating multiple accounts to repeatedly claim free credits). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
MenuPhotoLab is provided "as is." Results depend on the quality of your source photo, and we don't guarantee a specific increase in orders or sales, even though industry data (including DoorDash's own merchant data) shows menu photos generally help. To the extent permitted by law, MenuPhotoLab isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use MenuPhotoLab after a change means you accept the updated terms.
